Automatic Bollard

The Automatic Bollard is used in high security applications for reliability, safety and security. The pneumatic operating system provides a high speed quiet operation for your convenience.

The Bulwark bollard is made from the highest quality materials with stainless steel or hot dip galvanised cylinders which are epoxy coated with high UV resistant polyester powder.

The bollard can be operated by remote radio control enabling authorised vehicles such as ambulances, fire engines or security personnel quick access to normally restricted areas.

Safety is of course a major feature of the system. To prevent accidents, sirens, flashing lights and traffic lights can all be incorporated as a warning that the bollard is about to raise.

In ground loop detectors can be placed in close proximity to the bollards. These will prevent the bollard from opening when a vehicle is nearby.

A series of bollards can be operated uniformly from one control point enabling a large area to be quickly secured. The mode of operation can be set so that the bollard raises or closes on power failure (or alarm). Battery back up is also an option.
